GTRA COUNCIL MEETING
December 6-8
Bedford Springs Resort, PA

The Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) consists of over 100 federal leaders in a variety of technology areas of expertise. Meeting twice a year, the GTRA Council brings together executive-level government technology leaders to collaborate, strategize and create innovative solutions for government-wide challenges. Through these council meetings, GTRA provides annual required continuing education (CEUs) in the areas of cloud computing, virtualization, security, enterprise architecture, technology, project management, health IT, green IT and leadership while helping them identify affordable effective technology solutions.
By sharing best practices and lessons-learned, knowledge at the executive-level is exchanged among peers, resulting in actionable government-wide strategic plans to meet OMB and each agency's objectives.
7 years ago, a small group of Chicago executives had an idea... true, government-wide collaboration! GTRA is an organization comprised of leaders dedicated to the success of strategic government technology innovation!
GTRA also provides federal agencies with local Washington D.C. training forums tailored to meet their educational needs through focused hands-on workshops. GTRA's curriculum development team assists government leaders with their educational objectives, desired training topics, coordinating speakers and designing a customized program around their requirements.
Within the GTRA Council there are several Committees for Technology. The Committees are comprised of government executives in the fields of Technology, Security, Mobile/Wireless, Enterprise Architecture, HR, Learning, Training, Health IT, Legal and Leadership. Through Annual Symposiums, Meetings, Networking and the Members Portal, the Committees provide an unparalleled forum for government-wide dialog while advancing strategic technological initiatives and common goals.
The Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) provides CXO government leaders a forum to collaborate, strategize and create innovative solutions for today's most pressing IT needs. The research used to drive curriculum for all GTRA initiatives is grounded in the knowledge gleaned from the GTRA Council. GTRA's Council consists of over 100 well-respected government executives who specialize in Enterprise Architecture, Security, Cloud Computing, SOA, Virtualization, Leadership, Defense, Health IT, Workforce Management and Green IT. Through the semi-annual GTRA Symposium, workshops, live demonstrations, the monthly GOVTek Newsletter and the GTRA Members Portal, both public and private sector executives are able to share best practices and lessons learned resulting in actionable government-wide strategic plans. GTRA identifies cutting-edge technologies and solution providers to bridge the gap between strategy and the execution of government IT initiatives. GTRA is revolutionizing government collaboration for solutions and innovation!
