Antione L. Manson joined the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Cyber Security & Communication Division, as Program Director for the Federal Network Security, security management program. Mr. Manson’s program responsibilities are customer engagement, resiliency engineering, research & analysis mapping, and strategic planning.

Prior to assuming the current role, Mr. Manson served as a Program Manager for Security and Risk Compliance Programs for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). In that role he supported several NGA technical operations programs. While supporting NGA, Mr. Manson lead the Agency’s development of a standard framework for adhering to privacy compliance requirements, established the privacy program management office, managed several security assessment efforts, and spearheaded the FISMA FY07 reporting initiatives, which lead the intelligence community in compliance. Mr. Manson began his Federal service as an Engineer-in-training Co-OP for the Naval Electronic Systems Center Command in the early 90’s. He has more than 19 years of experience leading engineering operations, C4ISR and weapons communication system organizations.

Mr. Manson earned a Bachelor of Science Electronic Engineering degree from Norfolk State University and a Master of Science degree in System Engineering from George Washington University. Mr. Manson has also attained his level III acquisition certification in systems engineering planning research & development and Program Management from the Defense Acquisition University. In addition to his service to NGA, Mr. Manson previously held several critical decision-making positions with Missile Defense Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency and the Department of Navy.

In Mr. Manson’s spare time he enjoys traveling with his family, community service activities, running, and leisure reading.
