Craig McCombCraig has been the Information Technology Manager for the Department of Jobs and Family Services, Montgomery County Ohio February 2015. Previously Craig was the senior business analyst with the University of Dayton, Division of Student Development where he provided business analysis and project management services and support. Analyzes business processes, identified potential opportunities and issues; facilitates and leads the implementation of procedural change, and manages software solutions for efficient business practices. Work closely with representatives of the Departments within Student Development, University of Dayton IT, and Center for Competitive Change and external University partners to develop sustainable and efficient processes and maximize information technology solutions.

Craig retired October 2013 from U.S. Government after 37 years of service as a Government civil servant. Last position served as the deputy Chief Information Officer for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson AFB (Feb 2006 – October 2013). From 2011 through 2013 responsible for the planning and execution of the consolidation of five Centers’ IT functions. Chaired an executive team to create a distributed collaborative governance structure. Facilitated the establishment of the key core processes for the CIO operations through an integrated process team. Executive management over Centers’ information technology Portfolio Management, information systems Cyber Security governance and compliance and business process management/automation services to over 26,000 users at over 70 geographically dispersed locations.

Career responsibilities include managing and executing annual budgets exceeding $70 million and support to small (1700) to large (exceeding 80,000 plus) sized organizations in a variety mission areas (DOD and non DOD Agencies). Undergraduate degree Decision Science/MIS from George Mason University; MS in Management Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Graduate of the National Defense University iCollege Advanced Management Program (APM 6) in IRM; Defense Resources Management Course (Naval Post Graduate School/DRMI).
