Nelson MoeNelson is a high energy, results-driven Information Technology (IT) senior executive with a proven track record of leadership in enterprise organizations.  He has the ability to adapt and succeed in highly complex, fast changing cultures and is a proven leader with the superior ability to motivate staff and establish the environment for team success.

Nelson’s recent experience includes serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the U.S

House of Representatives.  In this positon he was responsible for the IT vision, enterprise IT strategic planning, IT budget implementation, cybersecurity operations and risk posture, business continuity management, IT services and program and project management for the Members, Leadership, Committees and staff of the House of Representatives.  His career at the House started in February of 2001 and spanned 14 years of increasing positions of responsibility. 

Prior to his efforts at the House of Representatives, Nelson worked in the private sector for several small IT startups and finished a career in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear submarine officer.

Nelson holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy and graduate engineering degrees from The Catholic University and George Washington University.

He is currently advising several small IT/cyber companies on service and product development.  He lives with his wife Marcianne in Alexandria Virgina.
