Chuck McGann Former CISO USPS Joins GTRA Technology Advisory Board

 

CRGT’s Chief Cyber Strategist, Chuck McGann, has been selected to join the Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) Technology Advisory Board. GTRA is dedicated to creating public-private sector technology collaboration.

April 1, 2015 – Reston, VA – CRGT’s Cybersecurity expert Chuck McGann has been selected to join the Technology Advisory Board of the Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA). He has supported the organization for many years – lending his knowledge speaking at council meetings and participating in as a member of the Government Advisory Board. The GTRA Technical Advisory Board (TAB) encompasses a collective group of technology solution providers and leaders.

The GTRA TAB lends unbiased expertise to the direction of GTRA’s activities, quarterly council dinner meetings, semi-annual council summits, content development, current trends and topics, and technical thought leadership for use by the GTRA membership.

“I’m excited to move over to the Technical Advisory Board and believe my position as Chief Cyber Strategist will bring an additional open mind to the group as we seek out the best for our membership.”

Chuck is the former Corporate Information Security Officer for the United States Postal Service (USPS). In this capacity, he had the responsibility of securing an intranet that is one of the largest maintained by any organization in the world. After his retirement from the USPS, Chuck joined CRGT Inc. as Chief Cyber Strategist, responsible for helping develop and align business strategies supporting growth across all business platforms but focused on the Federal Civilian environment.
